All about PIE! This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Mrs. Smith’s. All opinions are 100% mine.
Say “I” if you love pie! And if you love free money, you can put some whip cream on top of that! This should be a fun post for you. It sure was for us!
Recently, Mrs. Smith’s asked us to try their new Mrs. Smith’s Signature Deep Dish pies, and also sent us a sweet prize to give away too.
$50 to spend at Williams-Sonoma!
I’m actually one to bake my pies from scratch. But in a crunch, Mrs. Smith’s is my store-bought pie to fall back on!
My husband and kiddos love pie from anywhere, so they were all over this one! So I thought it would be fun for them to have a great pie taste-testing!
And guess what? No one disagreed!
Imagine that.
Our eager pie-tasting contestants. The kids were napkin-bibbed, with forks and fists.
They were ready to stuff their pie-holes.
(Pun intended. ; )
Here’s what Mrs. Smith’s was dishing up for us:
Signature Deep Dish Cherry Pie with Butter Fudge Sauce
Signature Deep Dish Peach Pie with Cream Cheese Icing
Signature Deep Dish Dutch Apple Pie with Caramel Sauce
Signature Deep Dish Pumpkin Pie with Cream Cheese Icing
And the kids got tasting, all of them!
And I just took photos . . . . . .
Discerning the flavor.
They were loving every minute!
And you can bet Michael/Daddy was off-camera to the side, tasting them all too.
And also having fun designing some more with the sauces and icing.
Afterwards, each one of the kids wrote down their reviews on all 4 of the pies they tried, in one of my many notebooks.
They were so cute and serious about it. Like real little food critics.
Here are some of their comments:
“The peach pie tastes great, and the cream cheese topping was better than I thought!”
“One reason I liked the apple pie is because the apple and caramel blend perfectly together.”
“The peach filling was sticky and gooey, which made it even better!”
“The cream cheese icing was a good choice for the sticky peach!”
“I liked the pumpkin pie. The spices taste good with the pumpkin.”
You can learn more about Mrs. Smith’s Pies on their Facebook or follow them on Pinterest
So the pie-tasting began so late in the afternoon, that the kids pretty much had pie for supper. I did have them eat at least a small and healthy meal afterwards, just so I would feel better about it.
And then their Daddy took me out to dinner. And we had a wonderful time.
NOW……. who wouldn’t be interested in winning this?!
Yes. A $50 Gift Card to Williams-Sonoma. And with it, I will also send you a coupon for a free Mrs. Smith’s Signature Deep Dish Pie of your own.
Someone is going to win. And it might as well be you! Right?
You can shop, and then have some pie! That’s what I’d call a good day. ; )
Sorry -This Giveaway has ended.
Just follow the requirements below, and you can consider yourself in it, to win it!
GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!
I’ve always been a sucker for peach pie, and that one looks so good! I really need a large serving casserole-sized dish (which I just realized over the holidays!), so I’d love to get one from Williams-Sonoma.
Oops 2nd question…over the holidays, I broke a favorite bowl that we received as a wedding gift from WS. Would definitely replace it if I win!
Dutch apple! We all love apple around here.
I would love to try the Dutch Apple, sounds yuuuummmmyy!
I’ve been eyeballing the Star Wars products Williams Sonoma for over a year now, if I won the giftcard it would definitely be to buy the pancake molds and cookie cutters!
I want to get the Emile Henry Artisan Loaf Pan and the Peach Pie is the first kind I would try
I love pumpkin pie so I would be tempted to try that one. But I am thinking my husband and boy would love to try the apple. As far as the gift card, I don’t know what I would spend it on.
I need new silverware, so that’s what I would spend a WS gift card on. Thanks for the chance!
I LOVE pie, but think I would definitely choose the cherry.
Apple Pie for sure. Although peach sounds great too. I need new pots and pans so I would buy something new.
Hi Laura,
Another Mrs Smith here lol We had Mrs Smith’s pumpkin pie at Christmas & that was a big hit, so we’d try the deep dish pumpkin for sure. They use such a great blend of spices & it makes the whole house smell so good. Anything I bought with the gift card would be a splurge for me. It would def be something new for the kitchen.
Mmmm…the peach pie with cream cheese icing for sure!
At Williams-Sonoma I’d buy myself a bottle of Villa Manadori Balsamic Vinegar. It’s $49.95 — perfect!!!
I want to try the apple one! Mmmmm…..
I would give it to my husband for his birthday. He loves to cook and is a sucker for fun kitchen gadgets and stuff, so he would have so much fun on a mini shopping spree there!
I would love to try the apple pie. Its one of my favorite pies! I would probably buy some new bakeware from Williams-Sonoma.
Hi there! Well, pumpkin pie is my all-time favorite so that is where I have to place my vote. Fantastic post, by the way. I love all the photos!
I would spend my gift card on baking supplies. I’m new to backing and need to invest in some tools of the trade. ๐
Thank you for the opportunity to win!
I would love to try them all actually, but today I think the dutch apple sounds amazing, especially with a bowl of vanilla bean ice cream ! Love all the picutures!
I would love to try the peach pie!
At W/S I would probably get some cookware ๐
I would choose the Pumpkin Pie with Cream Cheese Icing because it sounds amazing! I would get the Cephalon Contemporary Nonstick Dutch Oven if I won.

I would love to try the dutch apple pie. I love William Sonoma, I would probably buy a baking dish.
Mmmm! That apple pie is calling my name. Not sure what I would buy at Williams Sonoma, but I definitely wouldn’t have any trouble finding something. Every time I venture into that store, I want everything I see!
I would love to try the Deep Dish Cherry Pie.
I love cherries.
I like All-Clad cookware and this would be a big help in purchasing a new piece of All-clad cookware like a saucepan or a roaster.
First, let me say that your family is beautiful, and I love the photos, the taste-testing, the joy in everything you people do. It’s a beautiful thing.
Second, I would choose cherry, because cherry pie is also a beautiful thing. ๐
Third, uhhhh, I think I would put it toward their toaster oven bakeware set, because we live in a travel trailer most of the year, and our oven is really tiny for anyone, but especially for a family of 9 who does everything from scratch. Plus it happens to be on sale for $50 today. ๐ Or maybe I’d get a really good crockpot.
Thanks for a fun time at your blog today. ๐
I’d like to try the Dutch Apple- the topping looks delicious! From Williams-Sonoma, a mini muffin pan. The perfect size for kids, and I’ve always wanted one!
I would love to try the pumpkin pie. I would buy a stainless steel compost pail from Williams-Sonoma. Thank you for the giveaway!
Mmmm … peach and pumpkin. They both sound so delicious! And I’d spent the WS gift card on some pretty new table linens!
I like the Dutch Apple Pie.
I would buy a new coffeemaker.
I’d love to try the pumpkin! I would buy new kitchen towels
I like the Dutch apple, and would buy a new 9X13 casserole dish.
Pumpkin pie all the way! Those kids have it sooo good ๐ Not sure which of the products I would land on since I want them all. I do need an iron skillet.
1. Signature Deep Dish Dutch Apple Pie with Caramel Sauce
2. I’d put it towards a new frying pan!
For this bunch…I’d have to say the pumpkin/cream cheese. That sounds like something they would Love! ๐ As for the gift card….I’ve been trying to find a very large canister. Maybe? ๐ Thanks for the giveaway!!
I would definitely go with the apple pie. Yum! And if I won the William Sonoma gift card I would probably spend hours on their site and pick something wonderfully fun – maybe a deep dish pie pan!
I would love to try all of them, but the one I would start with would be the Signature Deep Dish Dutch Apple Pie with Caramel Sauce. I love apples and caramel.
I would spend my gift card on a black iron skillet.
I’d like to try Signature Deep Dish Pumpkin Pie with Cream Cheese Icing. Le Creuset Heritage Stoneware Square Dish would be great to get.
The dutch apple pie looks sooo good! I don’t know what i’d spend the gift card on, I can’t decide!
Cherry Pie is my favorite. We lived on Cherry Valley Road growing up and we were the only family with a cherry tree in our yard. Hours and hours of pitting cherries for mom, but totally worth it for homemade pie.
