I was wondering what my oldest daughter was doing out there in the driveway.
She was getting rocks together, to surprise us with our very own Rock Family. Ourselves, actually.
Left to right: Mama, Daddy, {A}, {J}, {O} and {S}.
I was taking photos before the glue even dried, and became transparent.ย Sorry ’bout that.
It’s a little (well known) craft she saw in my very favorite magazine subscription: Faith & Family; The Magazine of Catholic Living.
It ROCKS, too.
For those who get this magazine, and are interested, it’s the May/June issue 2009. Page 94.
Just thought I’d share how cute we are.ย : )
I TOTALLY want to subscribe to that magazine! I think I met you through their blog! TOO FUNNY!
Rene- Yes, acrylic paints. Have fun!
Nice job on the rocks, (A)! We are going to gather stones today for some painting fun. Finally we can enjoy some beautiful weather. What kind of paint did you use? I have some acrylic crafting paint, would that work?
Too cute!! Rock painting is on my list of summer fun too…though I’m not sure ours will be near as cute as those!
How cute! These are so darling! Your family is cute as bugs! ๐ I haven’t had a chance to read my newest issue of F&F, but I LOVE it too! Maybe doing this will help my 3 yo get over his deep deep fear of ladybugs.
Oh my gosh these are so cute! My youngeer girls LOVE Ladybugs! We will definitly be making these!! =)
Aw you are the cutest little rock family I have ever seen ๐
