Edited to Add: It occurred to me, that not all husbands /children/families, may be thoughtful on such days as these. Not every family does things the same way, either. So with that being said, I would just like to say that I hope & pray every one of you mothers felt the love and honor from your loved ones, on this Mother’s Day. If your day was less than you hoped, know that you truly are worthy of all you wished it was, in your heart.

I’m glad you enjoyed your Mother’s day. I enjoyed mine! Brunch with my mom. A relaxing day in the sun reading and ended with supper with the in-laws cooked totally by my hubby. Very nice and I do consider myself very blessed.
Jodi – What a lucky girl! I have always wanted a weeping cherry tree! Our yard has MUCH progress to be made in the landscaping department. Construction even ruined what crabgrass we had going on! lol. We’re working on it!! What a lovely gift your tree is, that you will be able to enjoy forever – just watching it grow, along with your children.
I’m jealous, but I’ll be ok. : )
Happy Mothers Day, Laura! You’re an awesome mother and your kids are so sweet! I love those home-made cards. 😉 After Mass, my children walked in the May procession to Crown Mary. It was so moving to hear the children singing “Immaculate Mary” while placing flowers at her feet on Mother’s day! Then my parents and brother and my in-laws came over for a yummy brunch and my husband surprised me with a weeping cherry tree! I’ve wanted one for years. It was great. God bless!
