People are loving the List chalkboards, and Michael has been filling the orders, and shipping them out.

If you missed it, a couple of posts back, here in The Homestead section, we blogged about a Prayer List chalkboard Michael had made for our home, after another little brainstorm I had.  Scroll down to the earlier post  if you want to catch the whole story, but the update is, people have been contacting us, and wanting to custom order one for their own home, or as a gift.

They don’t need to be marked as Prayer Lists, but that is all we have been selling so far.  (Which is nice!) But they can also be ordered as a To Do List, Grocery List, Remember List, Notes, your family name…..anything you want!… Read More

Prayer Request…

Today we got one of those kinds of phone calls.  The kind when you know something is terribly wrong, and it’s not a good call.

My sister’s husband has cancer.  Lots of testing is still going on, so we don’t know yet if it has spread, or not.   All we know is that it is Hodgkin’s Lymphoma – which they say is the best kind to get,  if one must.  The most treatable, the highest survival rate,  if caught early enough.  That’s our prayer!

My sister asked us to get as many people praying as we can, just as anyone would.  I told her that this blog is our best means to do that, as we know so many of you are the prayer warriors that we are.   So she said it was ok to post  this here.… Read More

So let me give you the time line here first:

Sent out my camera equipment on Aug 4.  Got e-notification that they received it on the 6th.  At that time I already had 2 clients waiting on me for their photo shoots, and countless family moments and life happenings that I instinctively began to retrieve a camera.  By the 10th, I had 5 clients lined up, and more instances where I couldn’t take photos.  It’s not that I expected my equipment back by THEN already.… Read More
