Our House Of Joyful Noise Link-Up Party #8, & Featured Links From Last Week.

& FEATURED PROJECTS

FROM LAST WEEK’S LINK-UPS!

Tuesday is here once again, and that means it’s time to TOOT a few horns, before we have another inspiring round of linky-partying!

Before I get to our features here, I just wanted to cut & paste a little message I put on our Facebook Page. (In case you aren’t following us there.) I really hope (really, really, reeeeeally hope….), that I don’t come across as a witch, saying this. Because my intentions are good, and encouraging.  But at the same time, I wouldn’t want thinking we never feature them because we don’t like their creative ideas or projects, either. So I just wanted to….encourage some.  Here’s is the Facebook message:

” Choosing links/blogs to feature from last week, to kick of tomorrow’s Tuesday Linky Party! On that note, I have to just mention: I realize not everyone is a professional photographer, but everyone CAN learn some basic photography for various lighting situations, and some form of photo editor. I hate to consider “not” featuring a great project idea, because the photos are so underexposed, etc. At the same time, I don’t want to feature large poor quality photos on my own site. So…sometimes I have been tweaking the photos for a boost. But I’ll need to go w/ fairly good or better photos to feature from now on. I hope you all understand & are encouraged to know that improving your photo taking can only benefit you, and your blog. : ) “

I also believe that others who hold linky-parties consider photo quality when choosing who to feature too. So improving one’s photography, if need be, can really increase one’s chances of being featured, which of course, makes one smile, and drive’s traffic to the smiler’s blog.  : )  With that being said, while I cannot give anyone a full course on photography, I am happy to be available to answer a few photography questions, if there is anything anyone is struggling with in particular.  Please feel free to email me anytime.

ON to our features!

We were so intrigued & impressed with these beautiful & delicate Paper Mache’ Tea Cups, by Sibylle at Funkytime!  Seeing these brought me right back to 5th grade in my mind, and my Hopi Bowl masterpiece.   Check out Sibylle’s blog to find out how to make them.  She even has a template for you!

How ADORABLE are these summertime Watermelon Toes, I ask you?  Almost as cute as Julie, at My Crazy Life….as a mom and a  wife!  She shows you how your toes can look just as sweet!

Our final feature, is one I am happy & hopeful, to share. This is a Pillow Case was made by La-Dee-Da-Creations, and it was made for Pillow Fight–For a Cause!!  She tells you all about it at her blog.  I know La-Dee-Da Creations was featured last week, but I am all for charity, and I was touched by the idea of talented sewers from everywhere, designing and donating pillow cases to add cheer to the kids at this children’s hospital. So if you sew, consider this thoughtful idea for the hospitalized children.  Don’t sew?  La-Dee-Da-Creations is offering to make one FOR you, if you just send her the material!  Now that’s heart!  Please visit her blog for more details, and visit the button below, for the inspiration behind this compassionate charity in the works.

To our featured creative Peeps, and everyone who has been linking up, we thank you!  Let’s keep the Our House Of Joyful Noise Link-Up Party going & growing! Are you ready?
