& FEATURED PROJECTS
FROM LAST WEEKS LINK-UPS!
It’s Tuesday again, and that means it’s time for another Link-Up Party, to show off & inspire others, with the creative projects you’ve been up to! If you *must*, you can skip right down to the bottom and link-up, if that’s all you’re here for.
But like many bloggers who have linky-parties, we’ve decided to feature some of our favorite ideas that were linked up last week! It’s a tough thing to choose, because they are all great ideas, and hopefully our parties will only grow in size, making the choices more difficult every week! But for one reason or another, (and I’m sure I’ll be saying why!), the following projects are ones I’d like to be sure no one missed last week! The link-up party is at the end of these features I recommend you check out!
First up is Nothing But Country! If you haven’t been to Mary Beth & Chad’s blog yet, you need to! They are always full of simple & cute ideas, and they create and share lots of printables, to make it quick & easy for you to be inspired & make their project ideas! Last week Nothing But Country linked up a few cute gift ideas for Father’s Day, and I think they are perfect surprises for daddies and grandfathers, from the kids! Rather than link you to each project, I’m just linking you to their Home Page, so you can look around and see for yourself, how many cute project & treat ideas are there, and how easy they make it for you!
Next up is a possibly a familiar project, with a few twists, from Michelle Not Shelly. Shelly has taken the (monthly) plaque project we have shared here on our blog, and RUN with it, in all kinds of directions! She has made them for several occasions, and most recently found a way to be frugally creative to make FIFTEEN of them for her whole Girl Scout Troop, for grand whopping total, of $3.75!! How impressive is that? You need to check out her plaque projects she shares.
Did you see this craft last week? Do you know what this jewelry set is made of? SODA CANS!! I couldn’t even believe it! Crissy, at Crissy’s Crafts, shows you step-by-step, how you can do it too. Curiosity alone, has got to urge you to see how this is done. I was impressed! Personally, I’m sure I’d cut myself in the process. But there are far more capable crafters than myself!
And last but not least, is what is probably my favorite link-up from last week. I think you would have to agree, that more than any project we could ever dream up and get supplies for, the greatest project of our life, is our children! And parenting often takes real creativity! True? Well I found a new & true buddy, in Shannon over at Family Brings Joy. In this post, Shannon shares an abundance of encouraging & inspiring ideas, for some wonderful Family Nights, with your spouse and children. She shares their own typical routine, and a whole list of optional ideas. What’s more, you will find her real, and her suggestions and spirit encouraging. As a bonus, she shares a beautiful & touching video of a true story, called Dayton’s Legs. I had my own kids watch,because I knew they would enjoy it as much as I did, and I was right. It’s a perfect video, to be part of your own Family Night!
Do you see the optical illusion here? I do!
But anyway, it’s time to find out:

You may take note, that I redesigned our Link-Up party button! What do you think? I thought a square format, would be more efficient for many of you to work with, in your own sidebars and such. So feel free to grab the new link coding, and replace the old! Or…grab it for the first time!
What can you link-up? ANYTHING CREATIVE! Crafts, sewing projects, refinished furniture, recipes, gardening, family fun ideas, re-purposing ideas, you name it!! You show US what your creative outlets are!
I’m going to kick off the party, and I hope a whole bunch of you join in!! *(Love this post? How about subscribing to our blog in the sidebar, ‘Liking’ our Page on Facebook, or following me (Laura) on Twitter? Or all 3?
)
