Although it is September 19 as I type, I am still trying to catch up on the things we did to celebrate {J, O & S}’s 7th birthday at the end of August. Haven’t had as much time to blog as usual, lately! But we’ll be wrapping up this topic soon enough.
When we got home from our hotel/pool overnight stay, we came home to a very special surprise package from our friend, and resident blog angel, Teri. I should have taken a photo of the package before we tore into it, and even after we opened it, to show you how everything was so sweetly arranged in the box. There was a little something, for all of us.
For me, there was some really great things only us photographers can appreciate, and this set of candles! The kids and I have have sniffed them all, 3x over. Fruities, florals….I love them all. : )
Michael got a stash of candy, which made him grin big, like, well….a kid in a candy store. Then, like a child, he loudly announced to us all, “These are MINE!! Aunt TT sent these to ME!! Does everyone understand?” : )
She also sent a lanyard with her business logo, for each of the kids. You have NO idea how much the kids love these things. They can clip anything on the end of them! But they think they are pretty cool just as is. They ‘sport’ these things all of the time. 
One of Teri’s sons helped her fill out the little funky cards for each of the kids, and he did such a great job! The kids keep even little cards, like treasures of gold. To top it all off, they each got a $15 i-tunes card! Considering 3 of them just got a new MP3 player, and {A} already has an i-pod, they were like, “WHOA! We have $20.00 each to use now!” (Because {A} gave the little ones i-tunes cards too.)
So as you can see, they are pretty happy kiddos!! Right after this photo, we were heading out for just one more birthday Hurrahh! That’ll be coming up right here, as soon as I get a chance.
